Certified Phlebotomy TechnicianUnder the direction of the Department Manager and/or Phlebotomy Supervisor, the Certified Phlebotomy Technician (CPT) is responsible for specimen collection and processing and is guided by the policies and procedures of Laboratory department and the hospital.Job Duties/Responsibilities Requirements:Two years prior hospital experience preferred, but not requiredGeneral education level (high school)Certified Phlebotomy Technician 1 (CPT1) certificate, which meets the California Department of Health, Lab field servicesCurrent BLS certification.
