Registered Behavior Technician in Santa Rosa, CA

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Current certification as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)
• Experience working with children or adolescents, preferably in an educational setting
• Familiarity with implementing behavior intervention plans under supervision of a BCBA
• Ability to collect data, document progress, and communicate findings to the educational and therapeutic team
• Strong interpersonal skills, patience, and compassion
• Capacity to adapt to dynamic classroom situations and handle challenging behaviors with professionalism

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver one-on-one and small group behavioral interventions in accordance with individualized education plans
• Assist in behavior data collection and accurate documentation of student progress
• Work closely with special education and general education teachers to support inclusive learning
• Implement positive behavior supports and reinforcement strategies
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to ongoing student assessments and planning
• Uphold confidentiality and ethical standards in all student interactions
