This includes the process related to shift narcotic count and documentation thereof.Notify physician, when necessary, of changes in conditions, weight, medication errors, medication not available, abnormal lab/X-Ray results, and any other unusual observationsDocument daily notes on unstable residents/change in resident condition, Medicare residents and recently admitted residents.Be responsible for the safety of residents and associates under his/her supervision.Observe infection control procedures.Perform all the duties of a certified nursing assistant when required.Other duties as assigned.Do I Qualify:Unencumbered Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) License in TexasPrevious Supervisor experience in SNF highly preferredElectronic Medical Record Experience required, PCC preferredMust demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age-related needs of the residents served.Be a supportive team member, contribute to and be an example of team work and team concept.Must possess the ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action.Must possess the ability to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies/personnel, and the general public.We are an equal opportunity employer and prohibit discrimination/harassment without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, disability status, genetics, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state or local laws.
