About the Position

Job Title: Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Labor and Delivery Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years of recent Labor and Delivery RN experience. Experience as an OR circulator is required. Experience in high-risk obstetrics is preferred. Previous travel experience is required. License: Registered Nurse Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) Intermediate or Advanced Fetal Monitoring course, preferably AWHONN Must-Have: Ability to independently read and interpret telemetry strips. Must pass telemetry test on Day 1 with a score of 85% or higher. Description: This position involves working in a Labor and Delivery unit. Shifts are scheduled for 7 PM to 7:30 AM. The role requires working every other weekend and every other holiday. The unit has 9 labor rooms, 2 operating and recovery rooms, and 5 triage rooms. Approximately 3000 deliveries occur per year. Candidates must possess the required certifications and demonstrate proficiency in fetal monitoring. All lessons for NRP must be completed and must not expire during the assignment.
