LoanIQ Business Analyst

Location: New York City – 5 days/week onsite Experience: 12+ We are seeking a skilled LoanIQ Business Analyst with strong functional knowledge of LoanIQ and syndicated / corporate lending operations. The candidate will work closely with operations, technology, and business stakeholders to support system enhancements, process improvements, issue resolution, and transformation initiatives. Key Responsibilities Gather and document business requirements related to LoanIQ modules. Translate operational needs into functional specifications. Conduct gap analysis between current and target processes. Create BRDs, FRDs, user stories, and process flow diagrams. Support configuration and parameter changes in LoanIQ. Additional Responsibilities Work closely with IT teams for enhancements and defect fixes. Partner with loan operations teams to resolve production issues. Analyze root causes of system/process defects. Support UAT (User Acceptance Testing). Identify automation opportunities. Assist in reconciliations and regulatory reporting alignment. Coordinate with Front Office, Middle Office, Operations, Finance, and Technology teams. Communicate project updates and risks effectively. Improve STP (Straight Through Processing). Contribute to operating model transformation initiatives. Strong working knowledge of LoanIQ modules including: Deal Setup Interest & Fee Processing Payments Agency functions Accounting entries Required Skills & Qualifications Strong hands‑on experience with LoanIQ. Good understanding of loan lifecycle, interest calculations, accruals, accounting flows. Experience in writing BRD/FRD. Knowledge of SQL (preferred but optional).
