About Prospect Rock Partners
- Proactively source and identify high-caliber lateral candidates through multiple channels including LinkedIn, industry networking events, professional associations, employee referrals, and direct outreach to passive candidates at competing firms
- Build and maintain a robust pipeline of qualified investment banking professionals through creative sourcing strategies, market mapping, and persistent relationship development with passive candidates
- Manage the complete recruitment lifecycle including initial screening, interview coordination, candidate assessment, offer negotiation, and close, ensuring an exceptional candidate experience at every touchpoint
- Conduct thorough interviews and assessments to evaluate candidates' technical capabilities, deal experience, cultural fit, and alignment with Prospect Rock Partners' values and business objectives
- Collaborate with the HR team to ensure seamless onboarding and integration of new hires into the organization
- Track and analyze recruiting metrics to continuously improve sourcing effectiveness, reduce time-to-fill, and enhance quality of hire
- Strong preference for candidates with prior experience as an investment banking analyst, associate, or in another client-facing role within financial services - firsthand industry experience is highly valued. We welcome professionals who may have transitioned out of investment banking and are seeking to re-engage with the industry in a more flexible capacity.
- 3-5 years of recruiting experience with a demonstrated focus on sourcing and lateral recruitment within investment banking, financial services, or professional services OR deep personal network of investment banking professionals
- Proven track record as an exceptional sourcer with the ability to identify, engage, and build relationships with passive candidates who are not actively seeking new opportunities
- Demonstrated success closing difficult searches and competing for top talent in a competitive market environment
- Deep understanding of investment banking roles, career trajectories, and the technical and interpersonal skills required for success in M&A, capital markets, and advisory functions
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build credibility and trust with candidates, hiring managers, and senior executives
- Excellent organizational and project management capabilities with the ability to manage multiple searches simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail
- Experience using applicant tracking systems and recruiting tools
- Experience recruiting laterals for boutique investment banks or middle-market M&A advisory firms
- Established network within the investment banking community
- Bachelor's degree from a competitive university
