Job Summary:

B&A is looking for an OpenShift Platform Engineer to join a contract with a federal government client in support of an important mission. We are seeking an experienced OpenShift Platform Engineer to support the design, implementation, administration, and optimization of enterprise container platforms across on-premises environments . The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Red Hat OpenShift, CI/CD automation, and PostgreSQL and Oracle database integration within mission-critical infrastructure environments.

Responsibilities:

• Design, deploy, and maintain Red Hat OpenShift clusters in on-premises datacenters environment .
• Migrate and modernize applications from traditional on-prem infrastructure to containerized OpenShift platforms.
• Manage connectivity and integration between OpenShift environments and enterprise on-prem systems, databases, and services.
• Support platform architecture, capacity planning, and disaster recovery strategies for on-prem and hybrid deployments.

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree.
• 8 years of experience. 

Required Skills:

• Hands-on experience administering and supporting Red Hat OpenShift in on-premises environments .
• Experience supporting enterprise infrastructure, including servers, storage, networking, and virtualization technologies in on-prem environments.
• Experience integrating container platforms with on-prem enterprise services and databases.

Desired Skills:

• Experience designing and supporting large-scale on-prem OpenShift deployments .
• Experience with hybrid cloud architectures integrating on-prem datacenters with AWS, Azure, or other cloud providers.
• Experience with enterprise storage, networking, and disaster recovery solutions supporting OpenShift environments.

Security Clearance:

• US Citizen willing and eligible to obtain a Public Trust.
