The Residential Care Associate I will provide caring companionship and assistance with daily tasks to clients, delivering personal care services that help individuals develop appropriate daily living skills and independent activities of daily living. Responsibilities include preparing meals, cleaning, food purchasing, encouraging client participation, passing medications under RN guidance, performing delegated medical care as prescribed, transporting clients to and from the program, and maintaining compliance with productivity standards for documentation of services. This position falls under the AFSCME bargaining unit; wages, benefits, and working conditions are set in accordance with the collective bargaining agreement. Training Program With our MHACBO‑accredited training program, you will earn CEUs toward applicable mental health certifications while attending your required paid training and receiving qualified clinical supervision, gaining on‑job experience. Work Schedule Sunday through Tuesday, 10:00 pm – 8:30 am (Part Time, Night) What You’ll Make $21.42 – $22.07 per hour DOE/Credentials. An additional $3.00 per hour night shift differential applies during the hours 10:00 pm–8:30 am, provided at least 2.5 hours of your shift occur within this period. An additional 5% language differential is offered for bilingual or multilingual candidates. About the Program Pine Ridge is a non‑secure 7‑bed residential treatment facility serving individuals living with a mental illness. It offers a therapeutic setting, multiple community living areas for group connection, skills training, and recreation, as well as private space for individual therapy and support. Residents can also enjoy the outdoor area complete with a large deck, raised garden beds, and lawn. ColumbiaCare Services is a qualifying employer for the Public Service Loan Forgiveness Program. What You’ll Need Caregiving and/or mental health experience (personal or professional) A dedication to the wellbeing of each resident and helping them complete activities of daily living (ADLs) and independent activities of daily living (IADLs) Driving is an essential function of this position. Successful applicants must provide a valid driver’s license from their state of residence or obtain and submit one within 30 days of hire, maintain a safe driving record, and have the ability to pass a DHS criminal background check. Physical Demands This position requires the ability to frequently talk, listen, use hands and fingers, reach, stand, walk, sit, bend, stoop, climb stairs, lift, carry, push, and pull up to 40 pounds. It may require the occasional use of ladders, squat/kneel, and perform other physical tasks as applicable. Candidates must successfully complete crisis de‑escalation and CPR trainings, which require performing various physical, hands‑on maneuvers and techniques, and may require lifting and transferring clients.
