Field IT Support Technician

Position Description As a Field IT Support Technician, you will provide onsite installation and maintenance support for a variety of computer equipment, printers, and specialized Key Control equipment. Each technician is provided with a company vehicle for travel to customer sites. Responsibilities also include maintaining an inventory of repair parts and documenting work through the service tracking system. Hardware You Will Work With Application Servers PCs Cabling Switches Printers Routers Fiber Converters Scanners Training You will be assigned a territory and will attend a paid training program in College Station, Texas. The training is a hands‑on familiarization course covering equipment at customer sites and will also teach our policies and procedures. Requirements Technical associate's degree or equivalent work experience 1+ years of technical experience (hardware/networking) Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds consistently Must be able to attend a paid training class in Texas Must have a valid driver’s license, no more than two moving violations in the last three years, and no OVI/DUI/DWI violations in the last five years Strong communication skills Customer service experience A+ and/or Network+ certification is a plus Ability to travel, including overnight hotel stays, up to 25% Benefits Medical, dental, vision, and life insurance, plus a health savings account 401(k) with up to 6% matching Company vehicle for work purposes Paid holidays, vacation, and sick days We promote a healthy lifestyle by providing a non‑smoking environment.
