Master Production Scheduler

Role Description: The Master Scheduler & Capacity Planner is a full-time, on-site role based in Carlsbad, CA USA. You will own and maintain the Advanced Solutions (ASD) master schedule across customer projects, process development work, tooling, and production activity. This role is responsible for keeping project start and finish dates current, building visibility into engineer and equipment availability, and translating project progress into a reliable 3-month view of expected revenue and open capacity. The schedule must be decision-grade: leadership should be able to use it at any time to understand what work is on track, what is slipping, what capacity is available, and whether new projects can be accepted and fit into the plan. In ASD, the master schedule spans engineer-led process development work, customer-specific projects, tooling, and production activities, and must provide a reliable forward view of capacity, delivery timing, and revenue timing. This is not a traditional production scheduling role. ASD work spans customer-specific project work, process development, and production activity executed across shared engineers, technicians, and equipment. The biggest scheduling constraints are engineer availability, equipment availability, tooling readiness, customer consigned material, and variable effort estimates.
