Job Title: Inventory Specialist - Forklift
Location: Cape Canaveral, FL
Employment Type: 13 week contract, possible extensions
Shift: Monday - Friday, 7am - 4:30pm
Day to Day Responsibilities:
- Receive, inspect, stock, and organize incoming materials
- Maintain accurate inventory records
- Issue and track materials, tools, and equipment
- Maintain accountability for company tools and serialized assets
- Perform routine tool audits
- Operate forklifts and material handling equipment
- Maintain forklift inspection logs
- Stage materials and build project kits
- Perform cycle counts and annual inventories
- Coordinate shipping and receiving activities
- Verify purchase orders, packing slips, and deliveries
- Monitor inventory levels and replenish critical stock
- Support deliveries to multiple job sites
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse
- Recommend process improvements to improve warehouse efficiency
Requirements:
- 2+ years of inventory, warehouse, or logistics experience
- Strong organizational and inventory management skills
- Experience operating forklifts
- Comfortable managing serialized assets and company tools
- Experience using inventory management systems and Excel
- Detail-oriented with strong documentation habits
- Self-starter capable of working independently
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Experience supporting IT, telecommunications, or low-voltage projects preferred
