Position Armed Cleared Security Officer Full time openings available. Must have 3 recent years of armed military, law enforcement or armed security. Active Secret Clearance is required. Site pay starts at $33/hr (suitability and training completion). Paid training at $25/hr. Job site is in Washington D.C. Must obtain FPS suitability (may take up to 60 days). Responsibilities Provide high quality security services, safeguarding personnel, property, and information. Conduct patrols within and around the facility on foot, bicycle, or vehicle to ensure the protection of people, assets, and sensitive or classified information. Preserve order and enforce rules, regulations, and directives for the viability of the site. Greet guests and employees, assist where appropriate; escort visitors and contractors, secure ingress and egress points, secure classified information. Follow site‑specific performance manuals and post orders, reporting safety concerns, security breaches, and unusual circumstances via written and verbal communication; interact with clients and/or other security personnel regarding order execution when appropriate. Respond to and assess security alarms or emergency alarms; act as a first responder in emergency situations and provide first aid as necessary. Qualifications (Must Have) Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience. Must be able to obtain a Department of Defense (DoD) position‑appropriate level security clearance (national security eligibility determinations consider stability, trustworthiness, reliability, discretion, character, honesty, and judgment). Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment, subject to state and/or local laws and regulations. Minimum of three (3) years of law enforcement, military, or private armed security experience. Minimum of 21 years of age (or higher if required by the state). Must be a United States Citizen to obtain the required government clearance. Must be able to articulate and write clear and concise incident or situation reports.
