Minimum Qualifications A High School diploma or GED equivalent and be at least 18 years old. Relevant experience working with individuals who have intellectual or developmental disabilities, behavioral challenges, dual diagnoses, or forensic involvement. A current driver’s license and California automobile insurance coverage for driving a personal vehicle to and from community locations independently or with team members. If a company vehicle is available, applicants must be at least 21 years of age. Ability to read, write and speak English. Bilingual in English/Spanish is preferred. Responsibilities Directly improve the quality of life for the individuals you support by applying techniques that promote positive interactions and goal attainment. Assist with personal needs such as hygiene, dressing, oral care, medication reminders, and social needs such as meal preparation, cleaning, exercise, games, and transportation to community activities. Maintain accurate progress notes and proactively communicate information about individuals’ needs to the team. Participate in all required training, team meetings, and company meetings to build knowledge, skills, and abilities for growth. Take ownership of personal behaviors and coach others in demonstrating the company’s C.A.R.E. values (compassion, adaptability, respect, and empowerment). Receive ongoing coaching, performance feedback, and recognition for personal and team contributions in addition to demonstrating the C.A.R.E. values. Preferred Related Experience (a plus) Assisted Living, Behavior Aide, Caregiver, Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), Developmentally Disabled, DD, Job Coach, Direct Support Professional (DSP), Child Care, Elderly Care, Senior Care, Hospice Care, ILS, LVN, Autism, Special Education, Special Needs, SLS, Housekeeper, Driver, Cleaner, Home Health Aide (HHA), Residential Care Facility Staff, In‑home Support, Med Tech, Personal Care Attendant, Day Program Staff or Adult Day Program.
