Description

American Traveler is hiring an Interventional Radiology Technologist with experience in Neuro IR and at least two of four modalities (IR, Neuro, Vascular, or Cardiac Cath) for a 13-week travel assignment at a short-term acute care hospital.

Details

• Work in an Interventional Radiology unit at a 180-bed short-term acute care hospital
• Procedures span multiple modalities including Interventional Radiology, Neuro IR, Vascular, and Cardiac Cath
• Day shifts, 4x10 hours, 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM
• Shift details and weekend requirements will be discussed with the Nurse Manager during the interview
• On-call requirements are based on unit needs and will be discussed with the Nurse Manager
• Charting is done in Epic
• May float within clinical scope to meet facility needs, including to sister facilities within approximately 20 miles
• Local candidates are welcome to apply at the same rate as travelers

Requirements

• Minimum of 18 months of experience in the specialty; 2 years preferred
• Neuro IR experience is required
• Experience in at least two of the following four modalities: Interventional Radiology, Neuro, Vascular, or Cardiac Cath
• ARRT or RCIS preferred; NBSTSA and/or NCCT national certification accepted
• Current BLS (AHA or Red Cross) required; ACLS required
• Epic experience preferred
• Two professional references required for consideration
• PDF copies of Driver's License and Social Security Card required for consideration
• License required if applicable
• Pending licenses are not accepted

• Scrub Technologist specializing in Cardiac, Interventional Radiology, Vascular, and/or Neuro procedures
• Ceil blue scrubs required
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• All requested time off must be submitted at the time of application
• Block scheduling cannot be guaranteed and is based on unit needs; may be discussed with the Nurse Manager
• Travelers at this facility group may not exceed 18 consecutive months; a minimum 6-month break is required before beginning another assignment at any location within this health system
