  • Ensure compliance with applicable federal and state regulations, Department of Justice requirements, accreditation standards, and organizational policies.

  • Participate in leadership committees, interdisciplinary planning conferences, and quality improvement initiatives.

  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders through meetings and conference calls.

  • Develop and manage the physician on-call schedule while participating in shared on-call coverage.

  • Support emergency preparedness, disaster response, and Continuity of Operations (COOP) activities as needed, which may require alternate schedules or work locations.

  • Exercise independent clinical judgment while working under minimal administrative supervision.

Qualifications
  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO).

  • Active, unrestricted medical license in the State of Texas.

  • Current registration with the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA).

  • National Provider Identifier (NPI).

  • Eligibility to enroll as a Medicare Part B and Medicaid provider.

  • Demonstrated leadership experience overseeing multidisciplinary healthcare teams.

  • Experience caring for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities and medically complex patient populations is strongly preferred.

  • Excellent communication, leadership, organizational, and interdisciplinary collaboration skills.
