About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Post Acute Care Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12 hours Hours per Shift: 36 Experience: 2 years of PACU experience License: RN License required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS Must-Have: - Strong PACU phase 1 recovery experience with large complex cases including neuro, thoracic, vascular, and ortho spine. - Ability to independently read and interpret telemetry rhythm strips and identify heart blocks. - Must pass telemetry test on Day 1 with 85% or better. Description: This position involves a schedule of 12-hour shifts with a rotation between day and evening hours. Day shifts are from 0600 to 1830, while evening shifts run from 0730 to 2000. There may be a need to float to inpatient PACU. The unit operates from 0600 to 2000, Monday through Friday, with no weekends or holidays required. No call is expected in this role. The average number of cases handled is between 18 and 30, encompassing trauma, pediatrics, ortho, and general cases.
