Director, Enterprise Architecture

Salary: $163,800 - 298,375 per year Requirements:

• We need 12+ years of progressive IT experience, including at least 5 years leading enterprise architecture in a large, multi-business-unit organization, ideally with $5B+ revenue.
• We need a proven record of leading application rationalization efforts with measurable portfolio reduction.
• We need hands-on experience with ERP and/or CRM consolidation at scale, such as Oracle, SAP, Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar platforms.
• We need strong fluency in cloud environments such as Azure or AWS, as well as integration and data architecture, including APIs, iPaaS, and event streaming.
• We need demonstrated success building and guiding distributed EA teams across the US and international time zones.
• We need a track record of influencing C-suite stakeholders and explaining architectural trade-offs in business language.
• We need a bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related discipline.
• Preferred: experience in distribution, supply chain, manufacturing, or technology services.
• Preferred: familiarity with TOGAF, Zachman, or similar enterprise architecture frameworks; certification is a plus.
• Preferred: experience defining and operationalizing FinOps or ITFM frameworks such as Apptio or NICE.
• Preferred: prior exposure to M&A integration architecture.
• Preferred: a masters degree such as an MBA, MS-IS, or MS-CS.

• We will set the enterprise architectural direction and own a reference architecture across applications, data, integration, and platforms aligned to our global functions.
• We will lead our central EA team and define the hub-and-spoke operating model with domain and business-unit architects across our shared services and business areas.
• We will oversee application rationalization by inventorying the portfolio, evaluating business value, cost, and risk, and driving a meaningful reduction in maintained applications.
• We will partner with business units to shape our ERP and CRM strategy and guide Oracle modernization and consolidation efforts.
• We will chair the Architecture Review Board and ensure major initiatives align to a coherent target state rather than isolated point solutions.
• We will maintain authoritative capability maps, target architectures, and technology roadmaps that inform leadership investment decisions.
• We will build and develop a team of enterprise, solution, and domain architects while strengthening the quality of our architectural standards, patterns, and reference designs.
• We will measure and communicate architectural outcomes such as applications retired, platforms consolidated, and technical debt reduction for IT financial planning and benchmarking.
