American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist for an Inpatient Rehabilitation unit requiring 1+ year of experience with adult and geriatric neuro patients.

Inpatient Rehabilitation Hospital setting with a 36-bed unit

Day shift schedule, 7:00 AM to 4:30 PM

36 guaranteed weekly hours with weekend work available on request

Patient population includes adult and geriatric patients recovering from CVA, amputations, and orthopedic injuries

Patient ratio of 6 patients to 1 therapist

Uses specialized equipment including Ekso NR and REAL VR along with standard rehab equipment

Charts using UDS ProDoc EMR

No floating or call requirements

Current PT license required if applicable

Minimum 1 year of physical therapy experience required

Experience treating adult patients required

Ortho and neuro experience preferred but not required

AHA certifications required

Social security number and date of birth required for consideration

Facility features a low-stimulation, secured unit with specialized beds, patient lifts, and a dedicated therapy gym

Amenities include an InMotion Robotic Arm, therapy car, daily living apartments, and an outdoor healing garden

Black scrubs required with an 8 AM report time on first day

Candidates must reside more than 60 miles from the facility to be eligible

Candidates cannot have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the past 12 months

Candidates must not be employed elsewhere full-time

Compliance with facility influenza vaccination policy or approved exemption required
