Knight Transportation

Knight transportation is looking for experienced CDL-A truck drivers to contract with the team as an Owner Operator. Operate under Knight’s authority and gain access to Knight’s nationwide fuel network savings with a fuel protection program, maintenance program, and trailer pool.

Compensation

Average weekly net settlement of $2,000
National freight network – Dry and Refrigerated
Average 2,200+ weekly miles
No forced dispatch
Single source dispatch
Fuel savings

Required Tractor Specifications

Tractor must be seven years or newer
Wheelbase must be less than 265 inches
Sliding fifth wheel height of 47.5 inches or less
3-axle with sleeper
Governed at 68mph cruise, 70mph pedal (Knight covers cost)

Qualifications

Must be at least 21 years old and hold a valid Class A license
9 months of Class A experience within the last year or 1 year of Class A experience within the last 5 years
No DUI within 5 years or 10 years if CDL holder at time of DUI
No more than 1 preventable accident in the past 2 years, no major accident within 5 years
No more than 2 moving violations in the past 2 years
Must be able to pass a DOT physical and drug tests
