Our team is made up of the best talent in the hospitality industry, down to every employee, position, and hotel.Position SummaryThe Preventative Maintenance Technician is responsible for ensuring all guest rooms and hotel facilities are maintained in excellent working condition through routine inspections, preventative maintenance, and timely repairs. This role plays a key part in delivering a safe, comfortable, and high-quality guest experience.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform scheduled preventative maintenance on guest rooms, including HVAC units, plumbing, electrical systems, appliances, and fixturesInspect rooms for maintenance needs, safety hazards, and brand standard complianceComplete minor repairs such as painting, drywall patching, caulking, and fixture replacementsTroubleshoot and repair issues related to heating/cooling systems, lighting, plumbing leaks, and in-room equipmentMaintain accurate records of maintenance work performed and report findings to managementEnsure all tools, equipment, and work areas are kept clean, organized, and safeFollow all safety procedures and OSHA guidelinesQualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent required1–3 years of maintenance experience, preferably in hospitality or a similar environmentBasic knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and general building systemsAbility to use hand and power tools safely and effectivelyStrong problem-solving skills and attention to detailGood communication and customer service skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamPhysical RequirementsAbility to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs regularlyComfortable working in various environments (indoors/outdoors, confined spaces, ladders)Benefits401(k)Disability insuranceEmployee assistance programHealth insuranceLife insurancePaid time offRoom DiscountsEmployee Food and Beverage DiscountsEEO: Driftwood Hospitality Management is committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace.
