The Sales Canvasser role is a contract/temporary position that offers a unique opportunity to engage directly with customers and communities. Please note, this job is not a remote opportunity, requiring in-person interactions to effectively reach and educate potential clients about our renewable energy offerings.

The selected candidate will join a dedicated team focused on decreasing carbon footprints via innovative energy products. This role requires enthusiasm, persistence, and excellent interpersonal skills, as it involves direct communication with prospective customers. Being a field-based position, the Sales Canvasser will play a crucial role in the expansion of our market presence by reaching out to potential customers in various neighborhoods.

• Canvass neighborhoods as assigned to introduce renewable energy solutions and products to potential new customers.
• Engage with residents to educate them on the benefits of switching from traditional power sources to more sustainable options.
• Effectively communicate the value proposition and benefits of renewable energy solutions to help customers understand the impact of their choices on the environment.
• Gather feedback from prospects and customers to enhance future outreach strategies.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the energy sector and market trends to provide accurate information to the public.
• Document interactions, interest levels, and follow-up requirements promptly in the customer relationship management (CRM) system.
• Meet or exceed daily, weekly, and monthly canvassing targets as set by the Sales Manager.
• Attend team meetings and training sessions to hone professional skills and enhance product knowledge.
• Act as a brand ambassador, representing Signaturenrgy with professionalism and integrity in all interactions.
• Resolve any customer concerns and questions by providing accurate and timely information, referring more complex issues to senior sales personnel.

• Must be able to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
• Demonstrate a dependable and reliable work ethic.
• Have own transportation suitable for travel within designated canvassing areas.
• Availability to work Monday to Saturday, with flexible hours as required by campaign needs.
• Prior experience in sales or customer service is preferred but not mandatory.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage effectively with diverse groups of individuals.
• A keen interest in environmental sustainability and renewable energy industries.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• High level of self-motivation and a self-starter attitude to seek out new opportunities for customer engagement.
• Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
