If you have experience assisting iv sedations and oral surgeries apply today!/ppResponsibilities:/pulliAssisting the dentist during a variety of procedures (iv sedations oral surgeries)./liliExplaining office procedures before treatment to patients./liliProviding quality and compassionate care to every patient before, during and after dental treatment./liliPatient management during dental procedures./liliDental charting of patients pre-existing and accurate inputting of patient progress notes./liliProviding patients with post-op instructions for oral care following surgery or other dental treatment procedures, such as the placement of a restoration (filling)./liliTaking impressions of patients teeth for study casts (models of teeth)./liliPreparing and maintaining dental instruments, supplies and equipment./liliTaking and developing x-rays, collecting and recording patient health histories./liliServing as an infection control officer, developing infection control protocol and preparing and sterilizing instruments and equipment./liliMonitor equipment and hand piece repairs for all operatory equipment, accurate completion and follow up of repair logs./liliCompletion of daily/weekly/monthly tasks including autoclave testing and cleaning of traps./liliAssisting with monthly supply order./liliAssisting clinic with recall and treatment plan reports, when requested./liliResponsible for adhering to all government and company regulations./liliHelping to provide direct patient care in all dental specialties, including orthodontics, pediatric dentistry, and oral surgery./li/ulpQualifications:/pulliExperience in a customer service environment and good computer skills are necessary./liliAn upbeat attitude and outgoing personality are a MUST to succeed in this position./liliAbility to handle multiple, simultaneous tasks./liliA people person/team player./liliMust have access to reliable transportation./li/ulpRequired:/pulliWilling to travel between 3 locations (Hiram, Cartersville, East Point)./liliDental Assisting experience./liliMust possess great chair side manners./liliAbility to adapt to different needs and techniques./liliAn individual who can work under pressure and strives to advance./liliAn individual who adheres to policies and procedures./liliBilinguals are a plus!
