These duties include cast application, DME application, maintaining DME inventory, technical procedures, and direct and indirect patient care activities that are essential to providing comprehensive care to patients and contribute to the efficient operation of the clinic. EEO/AA/Disability/VeteranResponsibilitiesUnder the direction of the registered nurse provides patient care.Under the direction of the physician or the registered nurse, performs technical procedures which contribute to safe patient care.Performs technical duties which contribute to safe patient care.Participates in educational activities that contribute to patient care, staff education, and self-development.Effectively contributes to the operational support of the clinic.QualificationsEDUCATIONHigh school diploma or GED required.EXPERIENCETwo (2) years of Orthopedic and/or Ambulatory experience required.LICENSUREOrthopedic Technician Certification or Medical Assistant certification preferred.SPECIAL SKILLSMust have a knowledge of anatomy and skill in cast application.PHYSICAL DEMANDRequires good manual dexterity; ability to use power equipment; assist with lifting patients, stand or walk most of the workday, and use good body mechanics.YNHHS Requisition ID 185593
