As a Patrol Officer in a chemical and petrochemical location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help deter incidents, and support a professional environment through strong communication and customer service. Position Details Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $18.39 / Hour Job Schedule: Mon: 10:00 PM – 06:00 AM Tue: 10:00 PM – 06:00 AM Sun: 10:00 PM – 06:00 AM What You’ll Do Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security‑related procedures, location‑specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities in a chemical and petrochemical location. Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual conditions in a calm, problem‑solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security‑related concerns to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, operational areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify hazards, maintenance issues, and/or policy violations. Monitor access points and verify entry and exit activity in accordance with site protocols, helping to support authorized access for employees, contractors, and/or deliveries. Support emergency and evacuation procedures when needed, communicate clearly with site personnel and/or first responders, and complete detailed incident and activity reports. Minimum Requirements Must have 2+ years of security‑related experience. Must be 21+ years of age. A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
