Release Engineer
We are seeking a Release Engineer who will be responsible for coordinating the release management lifecycle in a Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) environment. As a CGI Release Engineer, you will be joining the International Diplomacy, Assistance and Commerce (IDAC) group to support the mission of U.S. security, economic well being, and worldwide relations. Working with various clients in the US federal space, IDAC supports missions that foster national security, foreign relations and resilient democratic societies. Since 1976, CGI has partnered with the U.S. federal government to support a wide variety of organizations and unique missions building solutions that support clients around the world.This position may work from any of the following locations: Arlington, VA, Charleston, SC, or Knoxville, TN.
An interim Secret clearance is required to begin working onsite with our client, and a Secret clearance must be maintained throughout the project duration. Due to the nature of the government contract requirements and/or clearance requirements, US citizenship is required. Basic Qualifications: 3+ years of release and/or project management experience on IT related project, preferred in Business Intelligence or Analytics. Ability to conduct independent research to lead or support the resolution of complex questions and issues. Demonstrated ability to coordinate cross functional teams. Excellent analytical skills and the ability to integrate information from multiple sources. Knowledge of software development lifecycle. Advanced written and verbal communication skills. Experience working in an Agile based environment. Experience with Advanced Excel, PPT, and JIRA, preferred. SAFe or PMP certification, preferred.
