Job Description

• Create Customized Treatment Strategies: Assess patients' unique needs and develop tailored therapy plans aimed at helping them achieve their personal goals.
• Implement Therapeutic Interventions: Apply evidence-based practices to enhance patients' motor abilities, cognitive functions, and daily activities.
• Collaborate with Interdisciplinary Teams: Work closely alongside occupational therapists, physical therapists, speech therapists, physicians, and nursing staff to provide comprehensive, well-rounded care.
• Guide Patients and Families: Educate patients and their loved ones on therapy techniques to facilitate progress at home.
• Track and Document Progress: Monitor clinical outcomes, adapting treatment plans when necessary to ensure patients remain on their path to recovery.

Education

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited school.
• Continuing education or additional certifications are encouraged and supported.

Certifications

• Active Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license required.
• NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification is a must.
