At First Quality, you’ll find a collaborative environment focused on continuous learning, professional development, and our mission to Make Things Better.We are seeking a **Maintenance Lead** for our **Nutek Disposable** located in **McElhattan****.****Purpose and role of job:**Leads maintenance efforts for the platform and drives improvement to machine health. Directs and trains all maintenance technicians engaged in the daily maintenance and up-keep of the machinery and or equipment. Responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing and adjusting all mechanical equipment, machinery and components.**Principal Accountabilities/ Responsibilities:*** Observes all safety rules and uses the proper safety equipment at all times.* Follows necessary GMP, FDA, and ISO regulations.* Oversees the repair of all mechanical components of all equipment as required.* Troubleshoots and analyzes mechanical and operational issues on all equipment to and takes required corrective action to resolve these issues.* Operates all machines so that maintenance, changeovers, and adjustments can be tested when complete.* Assists in the scheduling and planning of all corrective/preventive maintenance, lubrication, changeovers, and engineering trials on all equipment.* Maintains a clean and orderly work area.* Coordinates preventive/predictive maintenance checks and inspections of assigned equipment and takes corrective action promptly.* Shares knowledge and techniques with team members and assists with training.* Assists supervisor with all performance appraisals as required.* Attends all training seminars provided by the company when applicable.* Completes paperwork correctly and submits in a timely fashion.* Shares on call responsibilities as needed.* Provides coverage for vacations and absences as needed.* Performs other duties as necessary when directed to do so.**Education and experience requirements:*** Completion of all required maintenance training and assessments.* Highly advanced or specialized mechanical knowledge of all machinery, equipment, and components.* Highly advanced or specialized knowledge of pneumatics and hydraulics.* Highly advanced or specialized knowledge of product specifications, quality specifications, goals, efficiency, scrap, and production.* Excellent communication and analytical skills.* Ability to use all measuring tools, micrometers, vernier calipers, etc.* Ability to run the equipment, hand tools, and power tools.* Ability to work in a team oriented environment.* Ability to lead others through example, coaching, and development.* High school diploma or equivalent required.* Minimum of three years of industrial experience or equivalent.* Any technical or vocational school training relating to mechanics is preferred.**What We Offer You**We believe that by continuously improving the quality of our benefits, we can help to raise the quality of life for our team members and their families.
