This opportunity offers per diem staffing as a Retail Staff Pharmacist in an independent specialty pharmacy setting located in Pennsylvania. The position provides flexible scheduling with typically 1–2 months' advance notice for PRN coverage, ideal for pharmacists seeking to supplement their work hours.

Location: Norristown, PA
Schedule:

• Monday – Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Saturday and Sunday: Closed
  Assignment: Ongoing PRN coverage starting October 12, 13, 16, with continued needs thereafter

Responsibilities:

• Verify prescriptions for accuracy and patient safety
• Provide pharmacist oversight of daily pharmacy operations
• Manage and support pharmacy technician staff
• Assist with patient counseling as needed
• Ensure compliance with pharmacy policies and regulatory requirements

Qualifications:

• Active Pennsylvania pharmacist license in good standing, with no negative history
• Minimum of 2 years recent experience as a retail staff pharmacist
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced independent/specialty pharmacy environment
• Experience supervising pharmacy technicians
• PioneerRx pharmacy software experience is a plus
