We welcome you to our unit by providing educational enhancements and a comprehensive orientation to ensure you are prepared to care for those who entrust us with their care. Our 17-bed ICU/CSICU is home to highly-trained staff who care for a wide-range of patients (neonates to geriatrics) and is equipped with state-of-the-art technology. We provide care for cardiovascular patients who have undergone coronary artery bypass grafting, thoracotomy, carotid stenting, heart valve replacement or repair, as well as a variety of other vascular related interventions. Our team is very experienced in caring for those undergoing interventional and non-interventional procedures, general surgery procedures, and advanced therapies requiring specialized equipment such as intra-aortic balloon pumps (IABP), induced hypothermia, extracorporeal membrane oxygenation (ECMO), and the Impella Heart Pump. ICU/CICU Registered Nurse (RN) - Position Highlights:

ICU/CICU Registered Nurse (RN) - Responsibilities :

• Provide direct patient care for assigned patients on the nursing unit and providing leadership within the nursing team.
• Utilize the nursing process to assess, diagnose, plan implement and evaluate the plan of care for patients served, through the model of Shared Governance.
• Collaborate with all members of the health care team with a focus on promoting evidence based care within a healing culture for the patient population served and their families.

ICU/CICU Registered Nurse (RN) - Job Requirements:

• Education: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. ADN required. BSN Preferred.
• Licensure: Current Arkansas or Compact State RN License in good standing.
• Minimum of one (1) year experience preferred.
• Certifications: BLS required. ACLS within the first six months of employment.
• Other: Ability to read, write and communicate effectively. Basic computer knowledge required.

ICU/CICU Registered Nurse (RN) - Safety Sensitive Designation:

This position is deemed safety sensitive in accordance with Arkansas Act 593 governing Medical Marijuana.
