Registered Nurse in Behavioral Health

Join our team as a Registered Nurse in the Behavioral Health specialty. This position involves caring for adults 18 and over with a history of legal issues. You will work in a state-of-the-art behavioral health unit with experienced staff. The team includes an internal medical group to address all medical concerns. You will be part of a full team of rehabilitation staff for group programming. Your responsibilities will include passing medications utilizing an automated medication system. Patient ratios are 1 nurse to 9 patients. The patient population consists of individuals with diagnoses including Bipolar disorder, Schizoaffective disorder, Major Depression, and chronic medical conditions. You will be expected to provide trauma-informed and compassionate care. Flexibility and the ability to adjust to changing patient needs are essential. Confidence and effective communication with others are required skills. The dress code includes blue scrubs, and unacceptable attire includes open-toed shoes and provocative or tight clothing.
