The position requires excellent attention to detail, strong data entry skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.Key Responsibilities:Verify that payment checks are completed accurately and contain all required information.Match payment checks with corresponding tax bill payment stubs.Process approximately 300 tax payments per day.Post payments into the in-house tax collection system.Minimum QualificationsStrong data entry skills with high accuracy.Excellent attention to detail.Ability to process large volumes of transactions.Basic computer skills.Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.Ability to follow written procedures and work instructions.Strong organizational and time management skills.Good mathematical and reconciliation skills.Preferred Qualification:Experience preparing and reconciling bank deposits.Experience processing high-volume transactions.Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office.Experience working with accounting, finance, or tax processing systems.Application Process: Resume Review Initial discussion Video Screening Client InterviewCogent Infotech is a leading tech consulting firm headquartered in Pittsburgh, PA, offering cutting-edge digital transformation solutions in Cloud, Cybersecurity, Data Analytics and AI.
