Global Flavor & Fragrance Sourcing Lead

Purchasing Category Manager Responsible for the sourcing of raw materials needed to support the business. Source from both domestic and international suppliers. Support contract arrangements and negotiations. Responsibilities Perform associated tasks in the sourcing of flavor and fragrance raw material requirements. Issue RFQ’s in support of current and long-term demands. Actively participate in supplier communications both internally and externally. Provide resolution to pricing discrepancies, complaints, and supplier performance. Actively engage in supplier negotiations, both on a contractual and spot basis. Potential need to travel domestically and internationally to meet suppliers. Collect and present market information related to crops, harvest, pricing, and manufacturing process. Utilize technical knowledge to research, document, and understand chemical manufacturing processes. Continuously assess the risk of suppliers and raw materials based on supply chain continuity, quality, and business impact. Support global purchasing and sustainability initiatives within the department. Qualifications Strong communication and negotiating skills. 4-year undergraduate STEM degree Minimum of 5 years of purchasing and/or technical experience. Analytical or development experience Multilingual a plus Advanced knowledge and previous business experience using MS Office, especially Excel.
