Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Ortho unit position requiring a compact or MT RN license and at least 1 year of specialty experience.

Details

• Work in the Med/Surg Ortho unit of a hospital setting
• Variable 12-hour shifts, mostly nights
• 3 days per week, 36 hours per week
• May be required to float to other departments based on business need
• May be required to be placed on-call during a regularly scheduled shift

Requirements

• Active RN license (Montana or Compact) currently in hand
• Current certifications: BLS (AHA), with ACLS, NRP, or PALS as appropriate for the unit
• ASN required; BSN preferred
• Minimum 1 year of experience in Med/Surg Ortho specialty required
• Epic EMR charting experience required
• All certifications must be AHA-issued and not expire prior to start date

Additional Information

• Perform independent nursing functions and delegated medical functions in accordance with state Board of Nursing standards
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient nursing care
• Document in accordance with hospital and regulatory guidelines
• Promote the mission, vision, and values of the health system and abide by service behavior standards
• Returning staff must be separated from any Intermountain facility for at least one year before being eligible for a travel assignment
