Business Analyst - SAP Variant Configuration I Sussex, WI - USA May 7, 2026 Pay information not provided Responsibilities Understands the validity of engineering requests and makes initial determination of severity of impact on currently available systems interacting with SAP VC. Performs a product SAP VC target testing and validation. Participates in collecting, documenting, and communicating best practices affecting product configuration process utilizing SAP VC. Participates and proposes improvements in the VC processes and applications. Sets up Options, Characteristics, BOMs and rules in SAP VC based on the input from engineering. Evaluates critical information gathered from multiple sources. Reconciles conflicting information and decomposes high-level information into a detailed functional design, distinguishing the initial user request and underlying true needs in relationship to the product configuration. Works closely with NPI project teams throughout the project lifecycle to ensure requirements are being satisfied by the planned SAP Configured Designs. Ad Hoc Reports. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree or relevant experience. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Computer Science or Business. ERP experience. Experience in manufacturing industry with knowledge of multi-level product structures. Experience with Change Management Process. Exposure to Variant Configuration. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Basic programming skills in a fast-paced environment. Ability to understand complex products. Ability to manage project deadlines. Responsible for developing good listening, written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work within a collaborative team, including virtual members. Physical Demands While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear; and use hands to manipulate objects or controls. The employee is regularly required to stand and walk. On occasion the incumbent may be required to stoop, bend or reach above the shoulders. The employee must occasionally lift up to 25 - 50 pounds.
