Software Project Manager

Job Summary: Software Project Manager is responsible for working with the application development team to deliver IT/Software projects in an agile environment. Job Description: Experience with software development in a multi-team environment. Experience working in an Agile environment. Experience with industry leading project management practices including understanding of Agile methodologies, values, and procedures. Ability to organize and execute projects in a consistent, repeatable and reliable manner. Must be collaborative in driving decisions. Experience in Healthcare and/or PBM (preferred). Job Responsibilities: Work closely with Program Manager to assist in facilitation of project planning, prioritization, execution, delivery, and collaboration to bring projects to closure. Facilitate and capture meeting minutes. Works collaboratively within the technology team and cross-functional teams to track and follow up notes and various action items to resolution. Report and escalated to management as needed. Run the agile scrum meetings daily as a scrum master in an efficient way keeping track of all impediments and ensuring they are resolved in a timely fashion. Prepare daily, weekly and monthly reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information. Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation. Qualifications: 1. Education and/or Training: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or Business Management required. 2. Professional Experience: 3-5 years of Program Analyst or project management experience managing Software Development Projects. 3. Licenses/Certifications: PMP certification (preferred) 4. Specialized Skills: Strong organizational, cross-team communication, and time management skills. Ability to adapt to a rapidly changing environment. 5. Technical Skills: Strong PC skills; MS Word, Excel, Access, and Power Point. Working with Microsoft Team Foundation Server (TFS) (preferred). 6.
