Assembly Worker

Assembly Line OperatorLocation: Roswell, GA Schedule: M-F 7:00 AM until 5:00 PM Pay Rate: $18 per hourJob Description:Position and assemble parts according to work instructions.Measure parts to specified tolerances.Record parts in ERP system as required.Inspect all parts for cleanliness and flaws.Clean, assemble, disassemble, and replace parts as required.Ensure that glass is clean and free from smudges, debris, particulates, and grease.Use chemicals, adhesives, solvents, lubricants, epoxies, paints, and ink as required.Maintain a clean and organized work area.Ensure ongoing inventory of needed daily supplies such as cotton swabs, toothpicks, alcohol, acetone, glues, adhesives, cleaning wipes, paints, etc.Keep production supervisor advised of work status, workload, problems, and progress throughout each shift.Required Skills/Qualifications:Ability to work well with others/excellent teamwork and communication skills.Ability to work with small electronic parts.Ability to paint various small parts.Packaging/Shipping experienceGood verbal and written communication skills.Time management skillsPast assembly experience is preferred.Physical Requirements:Must be able to regularly lift/move up to 10 pounds, occasionally as much as 25 pounds.Education Requirements:High school diploma or equivalent, and at least 1 year of work experience.Ability to read and comprehend procedures written in English.
