Job Title: Endoscopy RN Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Gastroenterology Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Days Hours per Shift: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM Experience: Minimum 3 years License: RN degree Certifications: BLS, ACLS Must-Have: - Intraprocedure technical experience - Must have intra procedural and Gastro experience Description: This position is for an Endoscopy Registered Nurse. The role involves working in a fast-paced endoscopy unit. Candidates should possess strong skills in pre, intra, and post-procedure care. Responsibilities include performing various endoscopic procedures. Required skills include biopsy, therapeutic injections, and polyp raising. Candidates must demonstrate the ability to assist other team members effectively. Troubleshooting equipment and supplies is essential. Experience with advanced endoscopic techniques is preferred. This position may require occasional floating to PreOp if needed. Expected patient ratios will be 1:2 with a focus on adult patients. Candidates should be comfortable with mid to high acuity levels. Team collaboration and effective communication are critical in this role.
