Job Title: Journeyman Electrician

Tiger Star Construction is seeking a skilled Journeyman Electrician to support the construction and electrical build-out of the Hailiang Copper manufacturing facility in Sealy, Texas. This role will focus on installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting electrical systems for industrial facilities and production lines , ensuring all work meets applicable codes, safety standards, and project specifications.

• Install, terminate, and test electrical systems for industrial facilities, including:

  • Power distribution systems

  • Conduit (EMT, rigid, and PVC)

  • Panels, transformers, and disconnects

  • Motors, VFDs, and production equipment

• Perform electrical work related to manufacturing and production line build-outs

• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and electrical drawings

• Ensure all installations comply with NEC , local codes, and project requirements

• Troubleshoot and repair electrical issues during installation and commissioning

• Coordinate with project managers, supervisors, and other trades on-site

• Supervise and provide guidance to apprentice electricians as needed

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area

• Follow all Tiger Star Construction and site-specific safety policies

• Valid Journeyman Electrician license (Texas or recognized reciprocal license)

• Minimum 3–5 years of commercial or industrial electrical experience

• Experience working in:

  • Industrial facilities or manufacturing environments

  • Production equipment and process power systems

• Strong knowledge of electrical codes, safety practices, and construction standards

• Ability to work from prints with minimal supervision

• Reliable transportation and ability to work on-site in Sealy, TX

• OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 preferred (or willingness to obtain)

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and lift up to 50 lbs

• Comfortable working on ladders, lifts, and in industrial environments

• Ability to work extended hours or weekends as project schedules require

• Experience with:

  • Motor controls and control panels

  • PLC-related wiring (installation side)

  • Start-up and commissioning support

• Industrial construction background

• Bilingual (English/Spanish)
