HR Generalist

Holly, Michigan, United States On Site | Full Time $80,000–$85,000 Direct Hire Opportunity Position Overview The HR Generalist will serve as a primary resource for employees, supervisors, and leadership on policies, procedures, employee relations, recruitment, staffing, and HR programs. This role plays a key part in supporting the overall employee experience while partnering closely with management across the organization. Key Responsibilities Serve as a primary contact for employees regarding HR policies, procedures, and employee relations matters Provide guidance and support to supervisors, teams, and individuals on the shop floor Manage recruitment, hiring, and staffing efforts for plant and office positions Process employment changes and maintain employee information within Workday Assist with workers’ compensation cases and support physically restricted employees Partner with leadership on disciplinary actions, performance management, and conflict resolution Coordinate employee events, communication boards, and monthly employee newsletters Support organizational training initiatives for shop floor and technical positions Maintain employee files, databases, job descriptions, and internal HR documentation Assist in developing and implementing HR programs, policies, and projects Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field or equivalent experience Minimum 3 years of HR experience, preferably within manufacturing Strong employee relations and investigation experience Knowledge of HR laws, policies, and procedures Experience working in fast-paced manufacturing environments Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills Experience with Microsoft Office, Workday, and Dayforce preferred Ability to manage confidential matters with professionalism and discretion Additional Information Must be flexible to occasionally support meetings across multiple shifts Strong collaboration and cross-functional teamwork skills are essential Reliance One, Inc. is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
