Are you a passionate and skilled Physical Therapist dedicated to helping patients regain their mobility, strength, and independence? We're looking for a committed PT to join our hospital-based rehabilitation team in Mohegan Lake, New York, where your expertise will play a vital role in restoring function and enhancing quality of life for patients across all stages of recovery.

What You'll Do

• Conduct Patient Assessments Evaluate patients' physical capabilities and develop tailored rehabilitation plans that address specific needs across a broad range of conditions.
• Deliver Targeted Therapy Implement therapeutic strategies including exercise programs, manual therapy, and equipment-based interventions to promote strength, mobility, and functional independence.
• Monitor and Adjust Care Plans Track patient progress, document clinical outcomes, and adjust interventions as necessary to achieve recovery goals and ensure safe, timely discharges.
• Collaborate in a Multidisciplinary Environment Work closely with physicians, nurses, and other allied health professionals to provide comprehensive, coordinated care in a hospital setting.
• Educate and Empower Train patients and caregivers on home exercise regimens, mobility strategies, and preventative measures to support continued progress beyond discharge.
• Promote Recovery and Prevention Advocate for early mobilization, injury prevention, and long-term wellness strategies for every patient.

Qualifications

• Education: Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) or equivalent New graduates are welcome and encouraged to apply
• Licensure & Certification: Active Physical Therapist (PT) license in New York State Specialty certifications (e.g., orthopedics, geriatrics, neuro) are an asset
• Skills & Experience: Hospital or acute rehab experience preferred Excellent clinical decision-making and problem-solving skills Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment
