We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, performing dental cleanings, and educating patients on oral hygiene practices. This role requires a strong understanding of dental procedures, infection control protocols, and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.

Duties

• Conduct thorough dental cleanings and assessments, including scaling and polishing teeth.
• Review patient documentation and medical history to ensure comprehensive care.
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental visits.
• Assist in four-handed dentistry procedures alongside the dentist to enhance patient comfort and efficiency.
• Maintain strict infection control practices in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
• Collaborate with the dental team to ensure a positive patient experience and seamless workflow within the clinic.

Skills

• Proficient in documentation review and understanding of medical terminology.
• Experience working in a dental clinic environment with knowledge of patient care protocols.
• Familiarity with infection control standards and HIPAA compliance.
• Ability to perform four-handed dentistry effectively.
• Strong communication skills to educate patients clearly about their oral health.
• Previous experience in dental assisting is a plus but not mandatory.
