Dental Hygienist Needed in Federal Way, WA!
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, performing dental cleanings, and educating patients on oral hygiene practices. This role requires a strong understanding of dental procedures, infection control protocols, and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
Duties
- Conduct thorough dental cleanings and assessments, including scaling and polishing teeth.
- Review patient documentation and medical history to ensure comprehensive care.
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental visits.
- Assist in four-handed dentistry procedures alongside the dentist to enhance patient comfort and efficiency.
- Maintain strict infection control practices in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
- Collaborate with the dental team to ensure a positive patient experience and seamless workflow within the clinic.
Skills
- Proficient in documentation review and understanding of medical terminology.
- Experience working in a dental clinic environment with knowledge of patient care protocols.
- Familiarity with infection control standards and HIPAA compliance.
- Ability to perform four-handed dentistry effectively.
- Strong communication skills to educate patients clearly about their oral health.
- Previous experience in dental assisting is a plus but not mandatory.
