Inside Sales Representative

Compensation - $23.00 /Hr

Schedule - Monday- Friday 9am-5pm (1Hr lunch)

Position Summary

We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Inside Sales Representative to support daily sales and operations for a Montana-based company serving the timber, lumber, and woodworking industries. This role is responsible for building strong customer and vendor relationships, supporting outside sales efforts, managing inventory, assisting with shipping and receiving, and ensuring smooth day-to-day office operations.

2. Columbia Falls, MT

Key Responsibilities

1. Provide inside sales support and exceptional customer service.

2. Build and maintain positive relationships with customers, vendors, and business partners.

3. Collaborate with outside sales representatives to support customer accounts and business growth.

4. Assist with daily shipping and receiving activities.

5. Prepare and process UPS and LTL shipments, including Bills of Lading (BOLs).

6. Operate a forklift to move heavy materials and palletized loads safely.

7. Manage inventory levels and coordinate product reordering as needed.

8. Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, and in-person visits.

9. Perform general administrative and office support duties.

10. Maintain efficient office operations and work independently when management is unavailable.

11. Contribute to a positive, productive, and customer-focused work environment.

Qualifications

1. Previous sales, customer service, or office experience preferred.

2. Strong communication and relationship-building skills.

3. Basic computer proficiency, including email and common office software.

4. Strong organizational and time-management abilities.

5. Ability to work independently and take initiative.

6. Forklift experience preferred or willingness to be trained.

7. Ability to safely lift up to 50 pounds.
