ED Technician, Part-Time
Saint Luke's Health System
Saint Luke's East Hospital in Lee's Summit, MO is looking for an ED Tech to join our team! Job Responsibilities Perform direct and indirect patient care tasks as delegated by the Registered Nurse. Provide basic patient care such as bathing and hygiene, elimination and toileting, nutrition feeding and hydration, and ambulation and positioning in the emergency room setting. Support patient safety and satisfaction by performing regular patient rounds in the emergency room. Maintain emergency department specific competency and effectively communicate with all team members. Qualifications Six months of experience as an ED Technician or EMT preferred. A nursing assistant certification, EMT certification, or completion of the Fundamentals of Nursing course is equal to 6 months of experience. Applicants with no experience must successfully complete the SLHS nursing support training program as a condition of hire to the emergency room. Shift & Work Hours Part Time Swing (1 p.m. – 1 a.m.).
