IJN Health Systems, LLC is a Skilled Home Health Agency is looking for a Physical Therapist Assistant to join our team of strong, compassionate caregivers to provide rehabilitation services. Our ideal candidate is a self-starter, motivated, engaged, and dependable.

 

Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) – Home Health, PRN or Part-Time

Job Description:

• Physical Therapist Assistant to provide rehabilitation services to our patients in their homes. The Physical Therapist Assistant is responsible for providing physical therapy treatments to patients to facilitate increased independence and functioning under the supervision of a Licensed Physical Therapist. To assist the physical therapist in the treatment of clients referred for physical therapy services by performing selected treatments, as directed by the physical therapist. Identify and document goals, anticipated progress, and plans for re-evaluation per policy and procedure.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of treatment at various stages and modify treatment to achieve maximum benefit.

 

Requirements:

• Education that meets the requirements of an approved Physical Therapy Assistants program and is licensed through examination by the State Board of Physical Therapy.
• Graduate of a Physical Therapy Assistant education program approved by the Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education (CAPTE) or APTA.
• One year of Physical Therapy Assistant experience required. 
• One year of Home Health experience preferred.
• Competency in computer skills.
• CPR certified
• Pass a background check
• Provide two (2) professional references
• Able to travel to cases as assigned
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
• Meets the requirements of federal and/or state criminal and abuse background checks
• Must have access to dependable transportation, auto insurance coverage

• Home Health: 1 year (Required), but will consider the right candidate with at least 6 Months of experience
