Senior HVAC Technician

We are hiring an experienced Senior HVAC Technician to help us operate, maintain, and expand our building and energy related HVAC platform consisting of geothermal, steam, and VRF systems. Essential Functions Performing maintenance and repairs on commercial HVAC systems including but not limited to, gas and oil furnaces, hydronic boilers, heat pumps, air conditioners, ductless systems and geothermal. Ability to troubleshoot, repair and perform system maintenance. Thoroughly document findings and present reports to management team. Complete assigned service calls and maintain communication with team throughout the shift. Knowledge of various refrigerant types, gases, electrical voltages. Participate in continued HVAC training. Ensuring code compliance and follow all safety procedures and practices. Qualifications Understanding of advanced principles of heating, air conditioning, and refrigeration. Working knowledge of hydronic systems. Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills. Ability to work in confined spaces. Goal‑oriented. Ability to work a flexible schedule to accommodate the needs of the organization. Clean driving history and valid Driver's License. Clean criminal background history and pre‑employment drug screen. Energ­etic, positive, and self‑motivated. Duties and Responsibilities Installing, maintaining and repairing heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems and equipment. Diagnosing electrical and mechanical faults for HVAC systems. Cleaning, adjusting, and repairing systems including but not limited to water source heat pumps, geothermal systems, ductless split systems, fan coil units, and steam coils. Providing technical direction and on‑the‑job training. Education High school diploma, GED or suitable equivalent. EPA Certified. NATE Certified A+. Experience 7+ year experience as an HVAC technician, and willingness to continue education in HVAC field. Working Conditions / Physical Demands Ability to work evenings and weekends. Ability to lift and transport up to 50 lbs on a regular basis. Ability to climb ladders and work in elevated spaces. Ability to work in attics and tight spaces.
