Physician Assistant – Urogynecology at Orlando AdventHealth Orlando – Physician’s Assistant General Summary The PA under the supervision of the Physician, who acts as the collaborative practitioner, is responsible for: Surgical Assist (Urogynecology Procedures) Assist in urogynecology surgical cases including pelvic floor reconstruction, minimally invasive procedures, and bladder/prolapse repairs within the hospital setting Assist in Hysterectomies, Hysteroscopies, Bladder and Organ prolapse, Myomectomies, and more Orders preoperative and postoperative medications as needed Collaborates with physician as necessary to provide consistent care to patients and support Displays a caring and professional attitude at all times as well as maintaining personal and professional growth Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees, patients, and the public. Strong communication skills Schedule Details Monday-Friday Campuses Covered: AH Orlando Rotated Call required Knowledge And Skills Required Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with physicians, staff, and patients. Strong communication skills Strong medical decision-making skills Required Education/Experience Master’s degree in Physician Assistant (PA-C) Studies Licensure, Certification, And Registration Current, valid Florida PA Certification by NCCPA, ANCC or other nationally recognized certification organization
