Key Responsibilities

• Title Examination: Reviewing title commitments, identifying liens or encumbrances, and working to clear title issues.
• Document Preparation: Drafting deeds, affidavits, closing statements, and other real estate legal documents.
• Coordination: Acting as a point of contact for lenders, brokers, and clients to ensure all title requirements are met before closing.
• Closing Support: Assisting attorneys in the preparation of final closing packages.
• Record Keeping: Maintaining organized digital and physical files for all real estate transactions.

Qualifications

• Experience: Prior experience as a Paralegal or in a Title Company setting is preferred, but we are willing to train candidates with a strong administrative or legal background.
• Skills: Exceptional attention to detail (missing a lien is not an option!) and strong organizational skills.
• Tech-Savvy: Proficiency in Microsoft Office and real estate closing software (e.g., Qualia, SoftPro, or similar) is a plus.
• Personality: A "team player" mentality with a friendly, professional demeanor that fits our familial office vibe.
• Communication: Ability to communicate clearly and calmly with clients and vendors.
