Locum MD (Medical Doctor), DO (Osteopathic Doctor) Pediatrics

As a Locum Pediatrician, you will play a vital role in providing high‑quality healthcare to children in our community. This role will allow you to manage various pediatric health issues while contributing to the overall well‑being. Responsibilities Provide comprehensive medical evaluations and treatments for pediatric patients Conduct thorough physical examinations and assessments Diagnose and treat common illnesses and injuries Administer vaccinations and preventive care Collaborate with healthcare team members to coordinate patient care Educate parents and guardians about children's health and wellness Maintain accurate and timely medical records Participate in ongoing professional development and training Requirements Medical Degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution Entry‑level experience in pediatric care is preferred Current medical license to practice in the state Strong interpersonal and communication skills Ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team Compassionate and patient‑focused approach to care Basic knowledge of healthcare regulations and best practices Willingness to upskill and engage in continuous learning Schedule: 24‑hour call coverage (7a-7p) Duties: Provide newborn care from delivery through discharge, including exams, follow‑up care, and NICU coordination as needed.
