Schedule

Shift: 6:45 AM - 7:15 PM. In a 6-week schedule, must work 3 weekends.

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) Registered Nurse to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality care to critically ill pediatric patients, ensuring their safety and comfort while delivering advanced medical treatments and interventions. The successful nurse will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate care and manage complex medical conditions.

Responsibilities

• Patient care and monitoring in a fast-paced PICU environment.
• Administration of medications and treatments as per protocols.
• Performing cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and other life-saving measures as needed.
• Conducting assessments, developing care plans, and maintaining accurate patient records.
• Collaborating with healthcare teams for comprehensive pediatric patient management.
• Providing support and education to patients' families regarding care plans and procedures.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU).
• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification is required.
