Salary: 14.00 Express is looking for a reliable Janitor/Housekeeper for one of our great Tifton clients JOB DESCRIPTION: The chosen candidate will be responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and orderly facility environment. This Janitor/Housekeeper role involves routine commercial cleaning , light maintenance, and ensuring all areas meet health, sanitation, and safety standards. Key Responsibilities:- Sweep, mop, vacuum, and wax floors
- Empty trash and recycling bins and dispose of waste properly
- Clean windows, glass surfaces, and mirrors
- Refill supplies such as soap, paper towels, and toilet paper
- Clean and sanitize restrooms, offices, hallways, and common areas
- Maintain cleaning equipment and report repairs or supply needs
- Perform minor maintenance tasks (e.g., changing light bulbs)
- Follow safety guidelines and properly use cleaning chemicals
- Report any safety hazards, damages, or security concerns
- Previous janitorial, custodial, housekeeping, or cleaning experience is a plus
- Ability to safely operate cleaning equipment (buffers, vacuums, floor machines, etc.)
- Physical stamina for standing, bending, lifting, and repetitive tasks
- Strong attention to detail, dependability, and time management skills
Ability to lift and carry up to 30 lbs
Ability to bend, reach, push, pull, and perform repetitive movements
